Privacy policy
Private by architecture.
DOCKK is a macOS application that displays web services you choose to add — such as WhatsApp Web or Gmail — inside a native window. This policy explains what data the app handles and when information leaves your Mac.
The short version
- DOCKK has no servers, no user accounts, no analytics, and no advertising.
- We never see your messages, credentials, or usage.
- Your traffic goes directly from your Mac to the services you add, exactly like a browser.
Data we collect: none
Octolabo operates no backend for DOCKK. The app never transmits your data to us, and there is no account to create. We cannot access anything you do in the app.
What stays on your Mac
Your list of services, notification statistics, themes, and preferences are stored locally. Each website's own cookies and site data are kept in Apple's WebKit storage, isolated per service profile — that is what makes two separate logins to the same service possible. Deleting the app and its container removes all of it.
Where your traffic goes
Directly from your Mac to the services you add, plus a favicon lookup to fetch service icons. The AI side panel simply displays the AI service's own website (such as ChatGPT or Claude); anything you type there goes directly to that provider under its own terms, never through Octolabo.
Notifications and statistics
Notifications are generated locally from the web pages you run and are never transmitted anywhere. Message statistics are computed on your Mac from those notifications and stay there.
Purchases
DOCKK Pro purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the Mac App Store. We receive no payment information and no personal details from a purchase.
What we do not collect
- No account or login information.
- No message content, contacts, or credentials.
- No advertising identifier or ad-network data.
- No third-party analytics or cross-app tracking.
- No sale of personal data.
Retention and deletion
All app data remains on your Mac until you delete it. Removing a service deletes its isolated web profile. Deleting the app and its container removes everything DOCKK ever stored.
Children
DOCKK is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy when DOCKK changes. Material updates will appear on this page with a revised effective date.
